UFC Fight Pass Twitter account takes shot at Tyron Woodley?
UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley has had a bit of a rough time since becoming UFC welterweight champion. Woodley knocked out Robbie Lawler in the main event of UFC 201 in July, however according to ‘The Chosen One’ he hasn’t been celebrated as a champion.
After winning the belt, Woodley revealed in an interview that racist fans had emerged and were frequently making racist comments to him on social media.
Woodley, who is now set to fight Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson at UFC 205, the UFC’s historic event in New York, became furious on social media when the UFC Fight Pass Twitter account posted a video of Nate Marquardt knocking out Woodley back in 2012.
Remember when @NathanMarquardt did THIS to the current UFC Welterweight Champion?! #UFCFIGHTPASS pic.twitter.com/u4PRsaSLtR

Woodley’s loss to Marquardt came in 2012, back in the Strikeforce days. The fight was for the vacant Strikeforce welterweight championship, and saw Woodley suffer the first loss of his professional MMA career. The fight also served as Woodley’s last fight before being signed to the UFC.
