There’s been much speculation as to what the UFC would do about Fabricio Werdum and Cain Velasquez both withdrawing from the main event of UFC 196, and it seems like we’ve got our answer.

UFC President Dana White informed Yahoo Sports that the event has been moved from Pay-Per View to Fox Sports 1, and the co-main event bout between Johny Hendricks and Stephen Thompson has been promoted to the main event.

The main card on Fox Sports 1 is as follows:
Johny Hendricks vs. Stephen Thompson
Roy Nelson vs. Jared Rosholt
Ovince Saint Preux vs. Rafael Cavalcante
