Report: Today’s UFC 200 press conference had SIGNIFICANTLY less viewers than the UFC 196 press conference
There is no denying that UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor is a huge draw for the UFC.
Today’s UFC 200 press conference was apparently a prime example of “Mystic Mac’s” drawing power, as it is being reported that the presser received significantly less viewers in comparison to the UFC 196 press conference that occurred just over a month ago.
Chamatkar Sandhu tweeted the following information:
The UFC 196 McGregor vs Diaz presser peaked at over 360k viewers. Today's UFC 200 presser did around 33k viewers. pic.twitter.com/5LWxqzww2A

Today’s UFC press conference was highlighted by the event’s newly announced main event rematch between current champ Daniel Cormier and interim title holder Jon Jones.
UFC 200 was originally slated to be headlined by a welterweight rematch between Conor McGegor and Nate Diaz, however, Conor was pulled off the card after he refused to partake in media obligations promoting this summer’s big event.
Is today’s press conference viewership an indication that the UFC will end up losing out on millions of dollars from not having Conor McGregor fight at UFC 200? Sound off PENN Nation!
