Last weekend, the UFC returned to Toronto, Ontario, Canada for the first time since 2013. The promotion did so with UFC 206. In advance of this Toronto return, the card was heavily criticized for its lack of big names. When its originally planned Daniel Cormier vs. Anthony “Rumble” Johnson main event fell through, these criticisms only grew louder.

In the end, however, UFC 206 emerged as a definite Card of the Year contender in a year that has been chock-full of Card of the Year Contenders.

Three of the most notable highlights of the card occurred in its last three fights. The first of these fights saw crafty veteran Cub Swanson and venomous South Korean striker Doo Ho Choi engage in one of the greatest fights of all time. The second saw fan favorite welterweight Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone flatten Matt Brown with a head-kick after two and a half wild rounds. The third – which occurred in the main event – saw Hawaii’s Max Holloway win the interim featherweight title with a third-round TKO of former lightweight champion Anthony Pettis. This career-best performance extended his win-streak to a whopping 10.

In the wake of the action-packed UFC 206, the UFC has released the preview for the card’s instalment of The Thrill and the Agony, an epic series that follows each card’s big winners and losers in the moments after their fights. Unsurprisingly, this episode of the series does not disappoint.

First, we witness the fallout of Swanson and Choi’s epic war, as a disappointed Choi returns to the dressing room, confused about how Swanson was able to hit him so frequently. Then, we see Cowboy and Brown chatting back-stage, squashing the beef that marred their fight week interactions. Finally, we follow Pettis and Holloway through their post-fight moments, as Pettis complains about the broken hand he sustained in round one, and Holloway shows his young son his new belt on the phone.
