UFC 210 – Daniel Cormier vs. Anthony Johnson 2: Official Fight Card and Start Time
On April 8, the UFC will take over Buffalo, New York’s Key Arena with UFC 210.
In the main event, we’ll see UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier attempt to defend his title against an old foe in Anthony “Rumble” Johnson. The co-main event, meanwhile, will see former middleweight champion Chris Weidman attempt to get back on track against long-time Dutch contender Gegard Mousasi.
Other features of the main card, meanwhile, include a strawweight bout between Cynthia Calvillo and Pearl Gonzales, a welterweight scrap between Thiago Alves and Patrick Cote, and a lightweight bout between Will Brooks and Charles Oliveira. The undercard, meanwhile, will include names like Sean Strickland, Kamaru Usman, Jan Blachowicz, Patrick Cummins, Myles Jury, and Mike De La Torre.
Cormier and Johnson first fought back in 2015, when Cormier weathered some early adversity to score a submission defeat of Johnson. Since then, Cormier has bested Alexander Gustafsson and Anderson Silva, while Johnson has gone on an absolute tear, knocking out Jimi Manuwa, Ryan Bader and Glover Teixeira.
Weidman will enter his co-main event battle with Mousasi on a two-fight skid, having recently been stopped by Luke Rockhold and Yoel Romero. Mousasi, meanwhile, is on a four-fight streak, having recently defeated Thales Leites, Thiago Santos, Vitor Belfort and Uriah Hall.
