UFC 211: Official Fight Card and Start Time
The next UFC pay-per-view on the horizon is UFC 211. This massive card will go down inside the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas this Saturday night (May 13).
The stacked UFC 211 will be headlined by a heavyweight title fight between reigning, defending champion Stipe Miocic and former champion Junior Dos Santos. This anticipated heavyweight title showdown will be a rematch of a late 2014 bout, which saw Dos Santos walk away with a hard fought unanimous decision win. Since this first battle with Dos Santos, Miocic has not lost, defeating Mark Hunt, Andrei Arlovski, Fabricio Werdum and Alistair Overeem, all by knockout or TKO. Dos Santos, meanwhile, has fought just twice since then, first losing to Alistair Overeem, then rebounding with a dominant decision defeat of Ben Rothwell.
UFC 211’s co-main event, meanwhile, will see UFC strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk attempt to defend her title for a whopping fifth time against dangerous Brazilian contender Jessica Andrade, who has looked unstoppable since dropping from bantamweight to strawweight.
Other highlights of this anticipated May 13 card include a welterweight battle between top contenders Demian Maia and Jorge Masvidal, a lightweight showdown between Eddie Alvarez and Dustin Poirier, a featherweight fight between Frankie Edgar and Yair Rodriguez, a flyweight scrap between Henry Cejudo and Sergio Pettis, and the UFC return of former two-division WSOF champ David Branch, who will take on the 19-1 Krzysztof Jotko. Like we said – it’s stacked.
