UFC 213 Fighter Salaries – Alistair Overeem leads the way
Robert Whittaker became the first Australian fighter to capture UFC gold last night in Las Vegas, defeating Yoel Romero via unanimous decision to capture the promotions interim middleweight title.
Whittaker took home $350,000 for his historic victory, as did his opponent Cuban sensation Yoel Romero.
The top payout from last night’s UFC 213 event went to former heavyweight title challenger Alistair Overeem, who earned $800,000 for his majority decision victory over former division title holder Fabricio Werdum ($275,000).
