Highlights | Kenny Florian and Michael Bisping break down Jon Jones big win

Jon Jones made his highly anticipated octagon return a successful one at tonight’s UFC 214 event in Anaheim, defeating Daniel Cormier to recapture the UFC light heavyweight championship.

“Bones” was able to land a huge head kick on “DC” in round three and ended up putting Cormier away with ground and pound moments later.

Shortly after the conclusion of UFC 214, the UFC on FOX team of Karyn Bryant, Michael Bisping and Kenny Florian broke down tonight’s epic main event.

Following his scrap with Cormier Jon Jones took to the microphone and challenged former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar to a fight.

Round one begins and Jones lands a hard low kick. He lands a right hand and then a left. Jones starting off quickly. Cormier lands a massive uppercut that knocks the mouth guard out of Jon Jones. The referee hands it to him. Jones lands a takedown but Cormier scrambles and they are back up. Jones with a left hand. Cormier replies with one of his own. Jones with a nice shot to the body. He lands a kick to the thigh. Cormier presses forward. Jones fakes a kick. He throws a low kick. He lands a left and then throws Cormier in to the fence. Another good jab and then a low kick from Jones. He lands a hard knee to the mid section. DC comes forward and lands a pair of low kicks. He follows that up with a right hand. Jones replies with a low kick of his own. Cormier circles and returns fire. Jones with a good kick to the body. He follows that up with an elbow. Jones with a nice right hand over the top. Jones with a left hand and then a front kick. DC replies with a low kick. Jones comes over the top with an elbow. DC misses with a wild right but then lands a low kick. Jones fires back with a low kick of his own. DC with a nice left hand. He presses forward and lands a right. Jones fires back with a pair of left hands. DC comes forward and lands a pair of big punches. Jones showboats but then eats a right hand. Cormier with some low kicks and then one to the body. Jones returns fire with a low kick. Round one comes to an end.

Round two begins and Jones lands a kick to the body. Cormier lands a left hand. Jones with a good knee to the body followed by a left hand. He scores with a right over the top. Cormier with a right hand. Jon circles out. DC is pressing forward now. The fighter clash heads and DC is cut. The referee steps in but we quickly resume. Jones lands a front kick. He goes to the body with a right hand. DC presses forward but misses with a right. He lands a left hand followed by a right over the top. Jones with a good punch. He lands a leg kick. DC leaps in and lands a combination. Jones with a kick. DC with one of his own. A good body kick scores for Jones. He lands a right hand over the top. Cormier circles and then presses forward. Jones rips off a hook to the body. DC leaps in with a right hand. Jones with a right hand of his own. He leaps in and scores an uppercut. Jones goes high with a kick. DC presses forward with some big shots. Jones grabs a hold of the clinch. DC tries a trip takedown but cannot hold Jones down. Cormier gets inside and lands a good shot. Jones replies with a right hand and then a left. DC leaps in with a left that lands. Cormier with a hard right hand over the top. Round two comes to an end.

Round three begins and Jones lands a nice shot to the body. He follows that up with a pair of low kicks. Daniel comes forward and eats a low kick. Jones with a right hand and then another. Cormier tries to press inside. Jones catches him with an uppercut. Cormier leaps forward with a right hand that misses. Jones circles off. He lands a left hook. More circling from Bones. DC is chasing after him. He leaps in with a left that misses. Jones circles again. DC throws a kick to the body. Jones returns fire with a hard shot to the mid section. DC returns fire with some of his own. Jones with a massive head kick Cormier is hurt. Jones with elbows and punches. He’s raining them down. It is all over!
