UFC 226 is, without any exaggeration, the biggest card of the year so far.
The card will be headlined by a massive, heavyweight title superfight between record-smashing divisional king Stipe Miocic, and beefed-up UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier.
The UFC 226 co-headliner, meanwhile, will see UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway attempt to defend his title against surging contender Brian Ortega in one of the most compelling matchups ever, period.
The rest of the main card, finally, will be rounded out by a heavyweight showdown between Derrick Lewis and Francis Ngannou, a lightweight bout between Michael Chiesa and Anthony Pettis, and a light heavyweight gunfight between Gokhan Saki and Khalil Rountree.
And that’s just the main card…
The pay-per-view worthy UFC 226 undercard is composed of a middleweight bout between Uriah Hall and Paulo Costa, a welterweight bout between Mike Perry and Yancy Medeiros, a bantamweight bout between Rob Font and Raphael Assuncao, a welterweight bout between Curtis Millender and Max Griffin, a lightweight bout between Dan Hooker and Gilbert Burns, a lightweight bout between Drakkar Klose and Lando Vannata, and a strawweight bout between Emily Whitemire and Jamie Moyle.
Again… it’s far and away the best card of the year so far.
Ahead of this absurdly stacked UFC 226 card, which goes down July 7 in Las Vegas, the UFC has released an absolutely awesome promo highlighting the main and co-main events. Watch it in full at the top of this post!
