Two more fights added to June’s UFC Fight Night 112 event

Two more fights have been added to June’s UFC Fight Night 112 event in Oklahoma City.

The first bout announced for the June 25 fight card was a light heavyweight bout featuring Ilir Latifi squaring off against Antonio Rogerio Nogueira.

Ilir Latifi will return to the octagon for the first time since suffering a devastating knockout loss to Ryan Bader at UFC Fight Night 93 this past September. Prior to the setback, “The Sledgehammer” had put together a three-fight win streak which included two knockout victories over opponents Hans Stringer and Sean O’Connell.

Meanwhile, Antonio Rogerio Nogueira is also coming off a loss to the recent Bellator signee Ryan Bader in his most recent octagon appearance at UFC Fight Night 100 this past November.

Prior to his loss to “Darth”, “Lil Nog” had scored a first-round TKO victory over Patrick Cummins at UFC 198 this past May in Brazil. Nogueira has gone 1-3 in his past four octagon appearances overall.

The second newly announced fight for UFC Fight Night 112 was a women’s strawweight bout between former champion Carla Esparza and Maryna Moroz (per ESPN’s Brett Okamoto).

Carla Esparza is coming off a split-decision loss to rival Randa Markos this past February in Halifax. Prior to that, the former women’s strawweight champion had earned a decision victory over Juliana Lima at UFC 197.

As for Maryna Moroz, the “Iron Woman” has won two fights in a row, her latest being a split-decision victory over Danielle Taylor at UFC Fight Night 92 this past August.

Moroz has gone 8-1 in her young mixed martial arts career, with her lone setback coming to Valérie Letourneau back in August of 2015 via decision.

With these two newly announced fights, UFC Fight Night 112 now looks as follows:

Johny Hendricks vs. Tim Boetsch – middleweight bout
Antonio Rogerio Nogueira vs. Ilir Latifi – light heavyweight bout
Carla Esparza vs. Maryna Moroz – strawweight bout
Felice Herrig vs. Justine Kish – strawweight bout
Josh Stansbury vs. Jeremy Kimball – light heavyweight bout
