UFC Fight Night Austin Results: Alex Morono submits Josh Burkman

A welterweight scrap between Josh Burkman and Alex Morono served as the featured bout of tonight’s UFC Austin Fight Pass Prelims.

Round one begins and Burkman lands a nice low kick to start. Morono presses forward but Josh keeps him at bay with a side kick. Burkman with a jab. Morono circles and then fires off a low kick. Another side kick lands for Burkman. Alex sidesteps and then comes forward with a combination. Morono lands a nasty low kick and then another. Burkman presses forward but he eats a big punch that sends him to the floor. Josh tries to get up but Morono locks in a guillotine. Alex drops down and this submission is deep. Burkman has no choice but to tapout. What a finish from Morono.
