UFC Lincoln Results: Bryan Barberena stops Jake Ellenberger (VIDEO)

A welterweight bout between Jake Ellenberger and Bryan Barberena took place on tonight’s UFC Fight Night 135 main card from Lincoln, Nebraska.

Jake Ellenberger enters tonight fight having lost three in a row and five of his past six overall.

Meanwhile, Bryan Barberena is coming off a loss to Leon Edwards in his most recent outing. “Bam Bam” has won three of his past five fights overall.

Round one begins and Ellenberger starts out quickly. He pushes Bryan back against the cage and delivers a low kick. Bryan circles and then comes forward to clinch up. Jake with a nice left hand on the break. He delivers another low kick. Barberena circles and throws a left hook that misses. Ellenberger with a combination attempt that misses. Both men are showing respect for the others power. Bryan with a nice combination from the pocket. Ellenberger returns fire with a low kick. Bryan with a right hand that hurts Jake. Ellenberger is on wobbly legs. Bryan attacks and causes him to fall to the floor. Bryan is in top position now. Jake scrambles in an attempt to get back to his feet. He does, but he eats a right hand and crashes back to the canvas. Bryan swarms him with ground and pound and this one is all over! Wow!
