Paddy Pimblett and Ilia Topuria have different reasons as to why they had a skirmish yesterday in London. On Tuesday at check-in day, Pimblett threw a hand sanitizer bottle at the head of Topuria, and punches were thrown. No one really knew why it happened but according to ‘The Baddy’ he said Topuria was the one who went at him so he reacted with throwing the hand sanitizer bottle. The Brit said he wasn’t going to risk his fight getting called off by punching him so throwing the bottle made the most sense.

UFC London main event in jeopardy following Russian invasion of Ukraine

UFC London might need a new main event as Alexander Volkov may not be allowed to compete in England. Volkov is currently scheduled to face Tom Aspinall in the main event of UFC London. The ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine could put a stop to that plan.

Tom Aspinall will be headlining UFC London but it won’t be against his original opponent. According to ESPN’s Brett Okamoto, Aspinall was originally supposed to fight Shamil Abdurakhimov. However, Shamil was pulled from the fight and the Brit will now face Alexander Volkov instead.

They had, after all, undergone expensive training camps for the event.
