UFC Fight Night 137 Results: Alex Oliveira KO’s Carlo Pedersoli (VIDEO)

A welterweight bout between Alex Oliveira and Carlo Pedersoli served as the co-headliner of tonight’s UFC Fight Night 137 event in Sao Paulo.

“Cowboy” enters tonight’s contest having won five of his past six fights. Oliveira (18-4-1 MMA) was most recently seen in action at April’s UFC on FOX event where he scored a submission victory over former UFC interim welterweight title holder Carlos Condit.

Meanwhile, Carlo Pedersoli (11-1 MMA) is currently riding an eight fight win streak, his latest coming over Bradley Scott via split-decision at May’s UFC Fight Night 130 in Liverpool.

Round one begins and Pedersoli lands an outside low kick to start. Oliveira swings and misses with a body kick attempt. Pedersoli with a side kick. Alex Oliveira lands a nicely timed counter right hand that sends Carlo falling to the floor. Oliveira immediately moves in with ground and pound and after a couple of shots Pedersoli is out cold. That was a fast one. “Cowboy” looked great.
