Magny (24-8 MMA) will enter the contest looking to rebound from his recent decision loss to Michael Chiesa. Prior to being outpointed by ‘Maverick’, the ‘Haitian Sensation’ had put together a three-fight winning streak, which included a unanimous decision victory over Robbie Lawler.

The Octagon remains in Nevada for tonight’s UFC Vegas 26 event, a nine-bout fight card headlined by Michelle Waterson vs. Marina Rodriguez. The event was originally slated to feature a men’s bantamweight main event between TJ Dillashaw and Cory Sandhagen. However, the former title holder in ‘Killashaw’ suffered a cut during training which forced him to withdraw from the contest.

Tonight’s UFC Vegas 26 event is down to a total of nine fights, this after a slated main card bout between Angela Hill and Amanda Ribas was called off. According to a report from MMAFighting’s Damon Martin, the scheduled women’s strawweight contest was scrapped after Ribas and a member of her team tested positive for Covid.
