Bellator boss Scott Coker shares his thoughts on the new UFC title belts
Add Bellator boss Scott Coker to the growing list of individuals who are not impressed by the new UFC title belts.
The Ultimate Fighting Champion unveiled their new “Legacy Belts” yesterday afternoon in Brooklyn, which spawned a ton of reactions on social media.
While some fighters appeared to be ok with the new belt design, the general consensus amongst the MMA Community was that the promotions new championship hardware sucked.
Scott Coker seems to share a similiar opinion, as the Bellator MMA boss took to Twitter with the following post – seemingly taking a jab at the UFC.
“Some things are better left alone.” Scott Coker said while posting a photo of a Bellator Championship belt.
The UFC will hand over it’s first ever “Legacy Belt” following the conclusion of tonight’s main event flyweight title fight in Brooklyn.
Either TJ Dillashaw or reigning division champion Henry Cejudo will walk away with the UFC’s new hardware.

As for the Scott Coker managed promotion, Bellator returns next weekend (January 26) with Bellator 214.
The event is headlined by the Heavyweight Grand Prix Finals where Fedor Emelianenko will be taking on Ryan Bader.
