Donald Cerrone was most recently seen in action in the headliner of last weekend’s UFC event in Ottawa, where he scored a dominant decision victory over former title challenger Al Iaquinta.
The win marked Cerrone’s third in a row, as he had previously scored stoppage victories over Alex Hernandez and Mike Perry.
Meanwhile, Tony Ferguson will return to action for the first time since October’s UFC 229 event, where he defeated former division champion Anthony Pettis via TKO.
After dealing with some personal issues outside of the cage, ‘El Cucuy’ recently received the green light from promotional officials for his octagon return.
The former UFC interim lightweight champion, Ferguson is currently riding an impressive twelve-fight win streak.
UFC 238 takes place June 8 live from the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. The event is headlined by a men’s bantamweight title fight featuring current flyweight champion Henry Cejudo taking on Marlon Moraes for the vacant 135-pound belt.
