Conor McGregor absolutely unloads on “fat mess” Daniel Cormier: “Congrats Jon on his head kick KO anniversary over you”

Conor McGregor went scorched earth on Daniel Cormier tonight, this after ‘DC’ told the Irishman to “worry about the dudes” who keep beating his ass.

The beef between McGregor and Cormier started after ‘Notorious’ appeared to mock the death of Khabib Nurmagomedov’s father on Twitter.

“Covid is good and father is evil?” – Conor McGregor shared and later deleted on social media.

One of the individuals who saw McGregor’s controversial post was Khabib’s longtime friend and training partner Daniel Cormier. ‘DC’ proceeded to condemn ‘Notorious’ for his actions, dubbing his recent remarks as a “cry for help”.

That notion obviously did not sit well with Conor McGregor who proceeded to lash out at ‘DC’ with a number of tweets which were later deleted (see those here).

Despite the fact that Conor eventually deleted the aforementioned social media posts, Daniel Cormier was not willing to let him off the hook. The former UFC heavyweight and light heavyweight champion responded to the Irish star with the remarks this evening.

“It’s much easier for me, because I work at ESPN,” Daniel Cormier said in response to Conor McGregor. “We have a department that does that, that can get every one of the kicks that Conor did get checked.

“So McGregor, listen to me bud. Stop worrying about me. Don’t worry about Daniel Cormier. Don’t worry about the things that I’m saying,” Cormier continued. “Don’t worry about how I’m dressing and how I’m looking. Don’t do that. Worry about the dudes that keep beating your ass every time you go into the Octagon. I’m not the guy you’ve got to worry about fighting. I’m done. I’m retired. I’m living my best life. You need to worry about trying to beat the guys that you fight against. Get off the internet. I don’t hate this dude, but McGregor, fall back.”

As expected, it did not take long for Cormier’s comments to draw a response from Conor McGregor. ‘Notorious’ proceeded to go scorched earth on the former two-division UFC champ with the following accusations.

“Daniel Cormier is a fat mess. Getting into worse condition by the day. God bless him. Showing up drunk at media events the very day before he was in the booth calling my fight. Drunk at a media event working? The day before being a commentator on the biggest fight in history?”

“It is a sackable offense for a commentator to be drunk at press work the day before commentating the big fight. Dreadful! Get it together. Belching in the mic at a press event and an all wtf. The day before commenting the big fight? Is this guy serious? Disgraceful.”
