Conor McGregor hints at upcoming meeting with Dana White
Yesterday, the UFC unveiled its new Apex facility — which includes a swanky new office for UFC President Dana White. Pictures of White’s new digs quickly began making the rounds on social media, and before long, former UFC lightweight and featherweight champion Conor McGregor was chiming in, expressing interesting in a meeting with the UFC boss.
The new office is looking great Dana, congrats on the re-up!
I’ll catch ye soon and we’ll lock stock.

“The new office is looking great Dana, congrats on the re-up! I’ll catch ye soon and we’ll lock stock. For two smoking barrels.” – Conor McGregor on Twitter.
White’s office, as you can see, features a photo of McGregor squaring off with Floyd Mayweather ahead of the pair’s blockbuster 2017 boxing match.
At present, McGregor does not have a fight booked, though he has repeatedly hinted at an imminent return to the UFC’s Octagon.
Dana White also seems to believe the Irish star will return to the cage soon.
“Conor is in a position where he’s sitting back right now, and I think waiting to see how this whole thing plays out with all these guys,” White told BT Sport recently. “But he should pop up soon.”
While many of the UFC’s top lightweights are currently booked, Conor McGregor has recently been called out by former World Series of Fighting champion Justin Gaethje, who is without a dance partner.
“I’m ranked No. 5 right now,” he told ESPN recently. “There are four guys and the champion in front of me. I’m looking for one of those guys, and I’m looking for a big fight this summer. I don’t want to fight guys ranked behind me. I’ve got two knockouts in a row. James Vick was ranked behind me. I feel I deserve someone in front of me… Looking at the landscape, Conor McGregor is No. 3 right now. If it’s not him, there’s not an open fight right now. So, that’s the fight I want. He’s No. 3. If he’s not going to fight, take him out of the rankings. I’d be cool with that, too, and we can move on from there.”
If Dana White and Conor McGregor meet soon, do you think they can orchestrate another blockbuster fight for the Irishman?
