Dana White says he’s signed a new deal with the UFC

UFC President Dana White has recently expressed interest in investing in the purchase of an NFL team with former UFC owners Frank and Lorenzo Fertitta. When asked about this topic on a recent episode of LVSportsBiz Guerrilla Cross Radio, however, the UFC President peppered in another very interesting detail with respect to his career as a titan of the sporting world.

He claims he’s signed a brand new 10-year deal with the UFC. That’s right. Another decade of profanity-laced tirades and interim titles courtesy of Uncle Dana.

“TMZ just got Lorenzo the other day in New York, and Lorenzo confirmed that they are looking at NFL teams,” Dana White began (transcript via MMA Mania). “They don’t think anything is available right now. I heard the Panthers, that the Broncos were available, that the Chargers might be up for sale. So we’ll have to see how this plays out.

“But yeah, if they buy a team, I’m in. I will partner up with them. We looked at something a couple of years ago, not in the NFL, in the NBA. We looked at a team but we got outbid, me and the brothers. I would love to be back in business with them and do something.

”Obviously I’m very busy and focused over here [at the UFC],” he continued. “But financially I would jump in with those guys. I just signed a new 10 year deal to stay on at the UFC. So in 10 years I can do something with them every day.”
