Dillon Danis plays tweet and delete, and Ben Askren absolutely roasts him for it!
Undefeated welterweight Ben Askren (18-0 MMA) was recently dealt from ONE Championship to the UFC in return for former flyweight kingpin Demetrious Johnson.
The historic trade, which could have a major impact on the sport of MMA going forward, sent shock waves throughout the mixed martial arts community.
Almost immediately after news of the trade surfaced, Ben Askren began attacking members of the current UFC welterweight roster on social media.
“Funky”, who UFC commentator Joe Rogan believes will give “everyone serious trouble“, proceeded to throw verbal shots at UFC staples such as Alan Jouban, Jorge Masvidal, Darren Till, Stephen Thompson, Colby Covington and Robbie Lawler.
With that said, Askren is not limiting himself solely to members of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
The former Bellator and ONE Championship title holder, Ben Askren, once again got into a heated twitter exchange with Conor McGregor’s teammate Dillon Danis on Friday.
“Funky” had taken to Twitter in order to poke fun at Sijara Eubanks, this after she missed weight for her UFC 230 bout with Roxanne Modafferi.
I’ll fight any Welterweight in the World, except @sarjncharg

“I’ll fight any Welterweight in the World, except @sarjncharg.” Askren joked on Twitter.
Dillon Danis immediately responded to Asken’s tweet with the caption “And me”.
However, for whatever reason, seconds after making the post Danis decided to delete it.
That decision prompted Ben Askren to turn up the heat on the Bellator fighter.
No I’d fight you but you suck too much for any promoter to even consider the idea. https://t.co/DpfSni6Mx2

“Ha ha ha ha little boy @dillondanis gets roasted, deletes the tweet and runs away with his til between his legs.”
While Ben Askren continues to have fun trolling fellow fighters on social media, fans are left eagerly awaiting an official announcement on who the UFC will choose to be the man to welcome “Funky” to the octagon.
The current rumor floating around is that Ben Askren could take on Darren Till when the UFC returns to London early next year.
