The Nigerian Nightmare” was able to smother the former lightweight champion for the better part of twenty-five minutes last night in Las Vegas. Usman’s performance garnered a ton of praise from fellow fighters and the MMA community as a whole.

Shortly following his dominant decision victory over “RDA”, Kamaru Usman would join the FOX Sports 1 broadcast with Michael Bisping, Kenny Florian and Karyn Bryant.

During his interview on FS1, former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping made a request of the surging UFC welterweight contender, Kamaru Usman.

The Count” asked Usman if he would mind giving Colby Covington a little extra punishment if they are to fight next.

“Don’t worry Mike, I got you.” Kamaru Usman responded. “I’ll give him some good shots and I’ll let him know, ‘That one’s for Mike. That one’s for Ken-Flo. That one’s for Rogan. And that one’s for everybody who watches UFC.'”

Usman and Covington have bumped heads in the past, and “The Nigerian Nightmare” is hoping that he will one day soon get to throw down with “Chaos“.

With that said, Kamaru Usman may very well have leap frogged Colby Covington after his stellar performance last night.

Shortly following the conclusion of the TUF 28 Finale, UFC President Dana White revealed that he is willing to move on from Colby Covington vs. Tyron Woodley.

“It was a great fight.” said Dana White of last night’s TUF 28 Finale main event. “Covington is obviously there. But I’m one of these guys man, I always like – if you just fought and are coming off a dominant performance against a stud, like ‘RDA’, I’m looking at you. Covington hasn’t fought in a while. He got injured. He didn’t defend his title. You know, all that stuff. Listen, in one fight Usman, look I used to talk a lot of smack about Usman. But in one fight this guy turned me around. And now that makes me excited to see the Woodley fight.”
