Nate Diaz is looking shredded ahead of UFC 241 fight with Anthony Pettis
Fan favorite Nate Diaz will return to the octagon at August’s UFC 241 event for a welterweight bout with former 155-pounch champion Anthony Pettis.
Diaz has not stepped foot inside the octagon since August of 2016, where he suffered a controversial majoirty decision loss to Conor McGregor in the main event of UFC 202.
‘The Stockton Slugger’ had previously defeated ‘Mystic Mac‘ via second round submission in the pairs first encounter at UFC 196.
Nate Diaz was briefly linked to a fight with newly crowned UFC interim lightweight champion Dustin Poirier at UFC 230, however that fight failed to come to fruition for numerous reasons.
Despite being gone on a near three-year hiatus, the youngest Diaz brother appears to be in phenomenal shape ahead of his UFC 241 showdown with Anthony Pettis.

The former lightweight title challenger, Nate Diaz, recently proclaimed that he was done fighting at 155-pounds.
Meanwhile, Anthony Pettis will enter UFC 241 looking to build on the momentum from his incredible knockout victory over Stephen Thompson this past March.
That fight marked ‘Showtime’s’ welterweight debut, this after he went 2-2 in his return lightweight, following a brief stint at 145-pounds.
UFC 241 takes place August 17 live from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. The event is headlined by a heavyweight title fight rematch featuring current title holder Daniel Cormier taking on former champion Stipe Miocic.
In addition to Nate Diaz vs. Anthony Pettis, UFC 241 also features a sure to be fire middleweight contest between Yoel Romero and Paulo Costa.
