Nate Diaz roasts Conor McGregor, Khabib Nurmagomedov and Dustin Poirier
Nate Diaz is definitely not a fan of UFC lightweight champ Khabib Nurmagomedov, or former champ Conor McGregor. Late on Sunday night, he took a shot at both of them in a single Twitter post.
Diaz’s Tweet included an image taken shortly after he defeated McGregor in 2016, along with some added text that makes it very clear how he feels about sambo, Nurmagomedov’s martial art of choice.

Diaz continued in another social media post, once again lashing out at Nurmagomedov and McGregor, and this time targeting Dustin Poirier too.
“Kabibs hiding scared cause I slapped the shit out of him
Conor already got his ass beat twice
Where the fuck you at kabib?
Ps porier is a pussy” – Nate Diaz on Instagram
Nate Diaz has not fought since August of 2016, when he gave up a hotly debated majority decision to McGregor. In his next most recent fight, which occurred earlier the same year, he submitted McGregor and simultaneously sent a shockwave through the entire MMA industry.
Diaz was briefly expected to return to the cage at UFC 230 in November, where he was scheduled for a fight with Poirier. Unfortunately this bout failed to come to fruition and the fan favorite’s future is once again uncertain.
Dustin Poirier has not fought since July, when he defeated Eddie Alvarez by stoppage. He’s scheduled to return at UFC 236, where he’ll rematch featherweight champ Max Holloway for the interim lightweight belt.
Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor fought each other in October, in the main event of the record-breaking UFC 229 pay-per-view. Nurmagomedov won this fight via submission. Unfortunately, the violence continued after the bout had ended, as the two fighters and their teams engaged in a frenzied brawl inside and outside the cage. Both fighters were suspended and fined for this chaotic scene.
At present, it’s not clear when either fighter will compete again, though Conor McGregor has recently been linked to a July return, perhaps against Nate Diaz.
