Nick Diaz trolls ‘b***h’ Georges St-Pierre after retirement
Georges St-Pierre is now officially retired. As expected, the Canadian MMA legend announced the end of his fighting career at a Thursday morning press conference at the Bell Centre in Montreal., the very same arena he fought in so many times.
In the wake of this news, many top fighters took to social media to offer Georges St-Pierre messages of respect and congratulations. Not everybody, however, has love for the former welterweight and middleweight champ.
Nick Diaz, for example, had a very different take on the Canadian’s retirement news.
“[GSP] fights like a b**ch and always has I fought him and he cheats to f**k you b**ch a** sport,” Diaz wrote on his Instagram story (via FanSided). “I fight for real and I won. I don’t play ball. Life’s not a game the UFC is.”
“Congrats, nice to see someone leave well enough alone for once,” he added.
Georges St-Pierre and Nick Diaz fought at UFC 158 in 2013, inside the Bell Centre in Montreal. St-Pierre won the fight via unanimous decision.
Other highlights of his Hall of Fame worthy record include wins over Michael Bisping, Johny Hendricks, Carlos Condit, Jake Shields, Josh Koscheck (twice), Dan Hardy, Thiago Alves, BJ Penn (twice), Jon Fitch, Matt Serra, Matt Hughes (twice), Sean Sherk, Frank Trigg, Jay Hieron and Karo Parisyan. He is inarguably one of the very best fighters of all time. His overall record sits at 26-2 overall.
“There’s no tears. I’m very happy to do it,” St-Pierre said in the English portion of his retirement message. “In combat sports you should retire on top, that’s what I’m going to do. I’m happy I have the discipline to do it.”
