Women’s flyweight contender Sijara Eubanks plans on giving UFC commentator Joe Rogan a piece of her mind the next time she has a post-fight interview. Earlier this month it was reported that Sijara Eubanks (5-3 MMA) was set to face former bantamweight title challenger Valentina Shevchenko for the vacant UFC flyweight championship in the main event of UFC 230.

Amanda ‘ABC’ Cooper is ready to get back to her winning ways. Cooper got her start in the UFC by competing on season 23 of The Ultimate Fighter. She would win her way to the finals before losing to Tatiana Suarez. Also on that season was Cooper’s next opponent, Ashley Yoder. The fight will take place at UFC Denver on November 10.

Late last night, Conor McGregor took a look back at his most recent fight with Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229. This, of course, generated mixed reactions. One of those reactions came from Nurmagomedov’s manager who has been right in the thick of the whole rivalry, Ali Abdelaziz. And he didn’t hold back.

A featherweight matchup between Ricardo Lamas (18-7) and Darren Elkins (24-6) has been added as the co-main event of UFC Argentina on November 17. UFC officials confirmed the news on Tuesday. Lamas is coming off back-to-back losses for the first time in his career after having fought Josh Emmett and Mirsad Bektic. “The Bully” will be looking for his first win since July 2017, where he finished Jason Knight first-round TKO at UFC 214.

This weekend at UFC Moncton, ‘The Russian Hammer’ Artem Lobov returns to action. But after what went down at UFC 229, he’s found himself with a new opponent. Lobov was initially set to face the teammate of UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, Zubaira Tukhugov. That was until Tukhugov attacked Conor McGregor after McGregor’s fight at UFC 229 with Nurmagomedov.

On Monday night, former UFC lightweight and featherweight champion Conor McGregor released an honest and astute assessment of his UFC 229 submission loss to undefeated UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov. Fetching content “Thoughts on my last fight. Round 1. I believe from a sport standpoint, round 1 was his. Top position against the fence. Zero position advancement or damage inflicted. But top position. From a fight standpoint the first round is mine. Actual shots landed and a willingness to engage. Straight left early. Knee to the head on the low shot. Elbows in any and all tie up scenarios. Opponent just holding the legs against the fence for almost the entire round. Round 2 he is running away around the cage before being blessed with a right hand that changed the course of the round, and the fight. It was a nice shot. After the shot I bounced back up to engage instantly, but again he dipped under to disengage. That is the sport and it was a smart move that led to a dominant round, so no issue. Well played. If I stay switched on and give his stand up even a little more respect, that right hand never gets close and we are talking completely different now. I gave his upright fighting no respect in preparation. No specific stand up spars whatsoever. Attacking grapplers/wrestlers only. That won’t happen again. I also gave my attacking grappling no respect. To defense minded. Lessons. Listen to nobody but yourself on your skill set.You are the master of your own universe. I am the master of this. I must take my own advice. Round 3. After the worst round of my fighting career, I come back and win this round. Again walking forward, walking him down, and willing to engage. Round 4. My recovery was not where it could have been here. That is my fault. Although winning the early exchanges in 4, he dips under again and I end up in a bad position with over 3 on the clock. I work to regain position and end up upright, with my back to the fence. A stable position. Here however, I made a critical error of abandoning my over hook at this crucial time, exposing the back, and I end up beaten fair and square. What can I say? It was a great fight and it was my pleasure. I will be back with my confidence high. Fully prepared. If it is not the rematch right away, no problem. I will face the next in line. On November 3, in the main event of UFC 230, UFC light heavyweight and heavyweight Daniel Cormier will attempt to defend that latter title against fearsome heavyweight knockout artist Derrick Lewis. Then, when Jon Jones and Alexander Gustafsson battle in the main event of UFC 232 on December 29, Cormier will be stripped of his light heavyweight title. At least, that’s the way the UFC is planning it.

Originally, UFC heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier was expected to make the first defense of his heavyweight title opposite former champion and long-time WWE star Brock Lesnar. Yet when the UFC needed a main event for UFC 230, which goes down on November 3 in New York, Cormier agreed to a short-notice heavyweight title fight with streaking contender Derrick Lewis While Derrick Lewis is now the first item on Daniel Cormier’s to-do list, the champ has remained adamant that there is still a Brock Lesnar fight in his future.

Undefeated UFC light heavyweight contender Dominick Reyes recently divulged that he’s interested in competing at UFC 232 this December 29 so that he’s in a position to step up if either Jon Jones or Alexander Gustafsson is unable to compete in the card’s main event as planned. But if the main event does go as planned, and Jones and Gustafsson both make it to the cage, who does Dominick Reyes think will win? Although he knows he’s in the minority, he’s leaning toward Gustafsson.

Juan Adams, an undefeated heavyweight prospect who earned a UFC contract with a knockout of Shawn Teed on a July episode of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series, is extremely confident. While he is still yet to partake in his UFC debut, a December 15 scrap with Chris De La Rocha, he already feels like he can beat any heavyweight on the UFC roster — with the exception of three men. In Juan Adams’ eyes, the only UFC heavyweights that he’d struggle against currently are Curtis Blaydes, Alistair Overeem, and reigning champ Daniel Cormier. The hulking prospect broke it down on episode 102 of BJPENN.COM Radio.

Former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor suffered a fourth-round submission loss to current lightweight kingpin Khabib Nurmagomdeov at UFC 229. The fight marked the Irish superstars first octagon appearance since UFC 205 in November of 2016 where he defeated then lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez via second-round TKO.

It was reported earlier this month that the surging top featherweight contender Renato “Moicano” Carneiro (13-1-1) was to face Chad Mendes for his next time out. That, however, appears to no longer be the case. Combate has now reported that the currently No. 4 ranked contender Moicano will now be facing off against a fellow rising contender, Bosnia’s Mirsad Bektic (13-1) at UFC 231 on December 8 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. According to the report, Moicano says he expects to act as the alternate fighter if needed in the case of an injury to either man in the night’s featherweight title fight main event between the champion Max Holloway and the unbeaten challenger Brian Ortega.

At UFC 229, rising light heavyweight talent Dominick Reyes took on a perennial light heavyweight contender in Ovince Saint Preux. Reyes entered the UFC after going 6-0 in smaller promotions. When he reached the UFC, the winning ways continued. The former college football player finished his first three UFC fights in the first round — two by knockout and one by submission. After this success, the versatile Reyes wanted a bigger name and at UFC 229 he got his wish. Against Saint Preux, Dominick Reyes would be tested, but a win promised to carry his career to new heights.

Earlier this month, on the main card of UFC 229, undefeated light heavyweight contender Dominick Reyes picked up the biggest victory of his career thus far, dominating former interim title challenger Ovince Saint Preux to a unanimous decision triumph. With this impressive triumph, Dominick Reyes usurped the number-six spot in the UFC light heavyweight rankings. Having done so, he can now look forward to scraps with the division’s very best fighters.

Paulie Malignaggi, who is one of the biggest Conor McGregor detractors out there, watched the Irishman’s UFC 229 fight with Khabib Nurmagomedov. While he can forgive McGregor for losing the fight — that’s the nature of the sport — he can’t forgive him for backtracking on his pre-fight trash talk in the middle of the fight, telling Nurmagomedov ‘it’s only business.’
