Imavov entered the fight coming off a frustrating 2023, as his last fight was a No Contest against Chris Curtis due to a clash of heads. To begin 2023, he dropped a decision to Sean Strickland as he went 0-1 with one NC in 2023. Dolidze, meanwhile, was coming off a decision loss to Marvin Vettori back in March in his only fight of 2023.

UFC welterweight Charles Radtke isn’t likely to get paid for interviews anytime soon. Radtke was featured in the main card opener of UFC Vegas 85 this past Saturday. He shared the Octagon with Gilbert Urbina inside the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. “Chuck Buffalo” landed a devastating left hook that sealed the deal near the end of the opening frame. He is now a cool 2-0 under the UFC banner. Radtke also extended his winning streak to six, and hasn’t lost a pro MMA fight since March 2021.

Aljamain Sterling feels the shackles are off now that he has moved on from the bantamweight division. Once it became clear that he wasn’t getting an immediate rematch, Sterling made the move to the featherweight division. It only took Gorimbo 32 seconds to snatch his second win under the UFC banner. Not one to take the slow and steady approach, Gorimbo wants a piece of UFC hardware this year. Dober (27-13 MMA) was returning to action this evening for the first time since scoring a first-round TKO victory over Ricky Glenn at October’s UFC Vegas 80 event. That finish had put the Denver native back into the win column, as he had previously suffered a TKO loss to Matt Frevola at UFC 288.

The Octagon returned to Nevada for tonight’s UFC Vegas 85 event, a 13-bout fight card headlined by Roman Dolidze vs. Nassourdine Imavov. The middleweight main event proved to be a hard-fought 25-minute affair. Nassourdine Imavov was able to utilize his speed and quickness to get the better of Roman Dolidze in the standup for the majority of the five-round contest. Although the Georgian fighter was able to find some success in the clinch, it was not nearly enough to earn him the victory on Saturday night. Instead, it was Imavov who walked away with a pretty clear-cut decision victory.
