Francis Ngannou provides grim update on potential UFC return: “This contract situation hasn’t been sorted”

Francis Ngannou has provided a grim update on his potential UFC return. The last time Ngannou (17-3 MMA) fought in the Octagon was this past January at UFC 270 where he defeated Ciryl Gane (11-1 MMA) via unanimous decision. Prior to the victory, the champ had suffered an MCL tear and partial ACL tear in training, but bound and determined, he proceeded to fight and defeat Gane.

UFC star Sean O’Malley had stem cells injected into his wiener, this to improve his overall girth and sexual performance. O’Malley (16-1 MMA) recently became the UFC’s top bantamweight contender after scoring a split-decision win over Petr Yan at last month’s pay-per-view event in Abu Dhabi. To celebrate, ‘Sugar’ decided to undergo a penis enlargement procedure, also known as the “P-Shot”.
Islam Makhachev vs. Alexander Volkanovski officially announced as UFC 284 main event

Islam Makhachev has his first title defense set. After Makhachev won the vacant title at UFC 280 with a submission win over Charles Oliveira, he called out featherweight champion, Alexander Volkanovski. The Aussie was the backup fighter for the card and the two had a staredown after Makhachev’s win.

UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski believes he’s in his prime, and he’s not going to waste it. ‘The Great’ has been out of action since his victory over Max Holloway in July. Following that victory, he announced his intentions to move to the lightweight division. Those plans were temporarily put on hold as he had to get surgery on an injured hand.

UFC middleweight champion Isreal Adesanya wants to pump the breaks a little bit on the Bo Nickal hype train. ‘The Last Stylebender’ is set to return to action this Saturday against Alex Pereira. The pair will headline UFC 281 on pay-per-view, in a trilogy of sorts. The Brazilian previously faced Adesanya in kickboxing, defeating him both times.

Johnny Munoz Jr. knew he had to beat Liudvik Sholinian at UFC Vegas 64 to keep his job. Munoz Jr. was fighting out his contract and was 1-2 in the UFC so he knew he had to beat the Ukrainian fighter. He ultimately did just that as he scored a dominant decision win, which he’s happy about.

Israel Adesanya has announced plans of returning to light heavyweight after UFC 281. UFC 281 features Israel Adesanya (23-1 MMA) vs Alex Pereira (6-1 MMA) in the middleweight main event tomorrow, Saturday, November 12th at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The title is on the line and Adesanya is confident he will retain the prize.
Calvin Kattar announces he tore his ACL in Arnold Allen fight, set to undergo surgery

Calvin Kattar has suffered a torn ACL. In the main event of UFC Vegas 63, Kattar was taking on Arnold Allen in a pivotal fight for the featherweight division. Yet, at the end of the first round, Kattar attempted a flying knee and landed awkwardly. To begin the second round, Allen landed a leg kick and Kattar dropped down to the ground and the fight was stopped due to the injury.

Frankie Edgar will make the walk – rather run – to the Octagon for the final time at UFC 281. Edgar is set to take on Chris Gutierrez on the main card of UFC 281 at Madison Square Garden. It will also be Edgar’s 36th professional fight and 30th in the UFC between three weight classes and also being the former lightweight champ. Yet, he says he still hasn’t truly reflected on how great his career is, but it is something he’s looking forward to doing.

Dana White has officially announced Power Slap. On Friday in New York City, White held a press conference to announce Power Slap, a Slap Fighting promotion. Along with that, the UFC boss announced a television deal with TBS for an eight-episode television series which will mark the promotion’s debut in 2023. Each episode will run for one hour. Rankings will launch after the series concludes and champions will be crowned.

Andre Petroski is hoping to prove he is the best grappler in the middleweight division at UFC 281. Petroski is set to face Wellington Turman on the prelims of the stacked card at Madison Square Garden. After Petroski’s first-round submission win over Nick Maximov, he wasn’t sure what would be next but he wanted to fight at MSG. In order to get this fight, he had to make sacrifices. His coaches left for Abu Dhabi to corner Sean Brady, but that didn’t stop Petroski’s training.

The UFC returns to its annual November trip to Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York. In the main event of UFC 281, the middleweight title is up for grabs as Israel Adesanya looks to defend his belt against Alex Pereira. These two fought twice in kickboxing with Pereira winning both including one by KO. Adesanya is looking to defend his middleweight title for the sixth time. He’s coming off a decision win over Jared Cannonier by decision back in July. Pereira, meanwhile, is just 3-0 in the UFC and coming off a KO win over Sean Strickland. His other two wins are by decision over Bruno Silva and by KO over Andreas Michailidis exactly one year ago at the MSG card in 2021.

Israel Adesanya doesn’t believe Alex Pereira deserves a title shot but is excited they are fighting. Adesanya and Pereira have a history with one another as they fought twice in kickboxing with the Brazilian winning one by decision and one by KO. With that, once Pereira returned to MMA he was quickly signed to the UFC. He also only had to fight three times to get a title shot.

Jiri Prochazka reveals the UFC wanted his and Glover Teixeira’s rematch to take place in Brazil. Teixeira hails from Brazil and the promotion was returning to the country for the first time since 2020 in January for UFC 283. With that, the hope was the UFC would have Teixeira’s potential final fight in his home country.

Former UFC women’s strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk wasn’t ready to say goodbye. The Polish fighter has been out of the octagon since her rematch with Weili Zhang in June. In their first encounter over two years prior, it was a ‘Fight of the Year’ candidate. The back-and-forth contest saw Zhang win by decision but, could’ve easily gone either way.

Former UFC women’s featherweight contender Megan Anderson has discussed her split from Glory MMA. The Australian has been out of the cage since her loss to Amanda Nunes in March 2021. Following that defeat, Anderson parted ways with the UFC. While many expected her to possibly head to PFL or Bellator, she instead stayed on the sidelines.
