Jake Paul has sent a message to Conor McGregor ahead of his boxing match against Anderson Silva. Paul and Silva agreed to a bet that if the YouTuber-turned-boxer defeats the former UFC champ, Silva will partner with him to help create a fighter union. Paul has been vocal in wanting to increase fighter pay in the UFC and now he’s calling on Conor McGregor to help him and Silva.

Arnold Allen believes he can become the first person to finish Calvin Kattar in the UFC on Saturday in the main event of UFC Vegas 63. Kattar has only lost once by stoppage – which was by submission in 2008 – and has been in a ton of wars. As of late, he has had four straight five-round main event fights go the distance and over that time has taken damage against the likes of Max Holloway and Josh Emmett. Although Kattar has the advantage of having five-round experience, Allen believes it’s his advantage due to the extra miles on Kattar’s body.

While few can challenge his greatness in terms of music, his controversial comments regularly have him in the news. Recently, West, who changed his name to Ye last year, has had lots of backlash.

Jake Paul has once again made a bet prior to his boxing fight. Paul has been vocal in trying to make bets with his opponents. He had offered a bet to Ben Askren which was not accepted, that would’ve seen Funky’s purse doubled if he won. He and Tyron Woodley also agreed to a tattoo bet, which ‘The Chosen One’ ended up following up with (see that here).

ONE heavyweight champion Arjan Bhullar is willing to help Petr Yan get out of the UFC. ‘No Mercy’ is fresh off his showdown with Sean O’Malley at UFC 280 last Saturday. The bout was a back-and-forth one, however, many fans felt that Yan did the better work. Despite that, it was ‘Sugar’ won the contest by a split decision after 15 minutes of action.
TJ Dillashaw says he will be out another “year” following shoulder injury, vows to fight again

TJ Dillashaw will once again be back on the sidelines due to an injury. Dillashaw served a two-year USADA suspension from 2019 to 2021 and in his return fight he was booked against Cory Sandhagen. During that contest, TJ hurt his knee which kept him out of action for another year. He recently returned to face Aljamain Sterling for the bantamweight belt at UFC 280, but in the lead-up to the scrap, he dislocated his shoulder multiple times.

Sean Strickland has been very vocal online in his disgust at MMA coaches that date their female fighters, and that recently resulted in a real life confrontation with former UFC fighter Aspen Ladd’s coach / boyfriend Jim West. Back in May, Strickland wrote a number of tweets targeting 45-year-old MMA Gold coach Jim West, accusing him of grooming his 27-year-old girlfriend Ladd when she was underage.

Cory Sandhagen is clapping back against Marlon Vera for his fight-ducking accusations. Marlon Vera (20-7 MMA) has spoken out about the UFC offering him a fight with Cory Sandhagen (15-4 MMA) on short notice for the UFC Fight Night 214 main event which takes place on Saturday, November 5. Apparently, Sandhagen turned down the fight and Vera has taken issue with that.

Anthony Smith says he is disappointed in T.J. Dillashaw as a person following UFC 280. Last Saturday, October 22nd, saw T.J. Dillashaw (18-5 MMA) meet Aljamain Sterling (22-3 MMA) in the co-main bantamweight fight in the Octagon. It was a second round TKO which saw Sterling successfully retain the title at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi. In the process Sterling broke the UFC bantamweight record for the longest winning streak.

UFC President Dana White has confirmed that Conor McGregor will require 6 months of USADA drug testing before returning to the Octagon. McGregor (22-6 MMA) has not fought since July of 2021 when he lost to Dustin Poirier (28-7 MMA) at UFC 264. The 34-year-old Irishman broke his leg during the fight and had to be operated on to repair fractures to both his tibia and fibula.

Max Griffin didn’t know who he was going to fight next. Griffin took on Neil Magny at UFC Columbus back in March and lost a split decision in a very close fight. It could’ve gone either way but right after the fight, Mick Maynard went up to him and told him that he and Dana White both thought he should have won. With that, they were going to pay him his win bonus but it left Griffin confused.

Anderson Silva wants his fans to know he wasn’t knocked out in sparring as a recent interview with MMA Weekly implied. Silva is set to face Jake Paul in a boxing match at the Desert Diamond Arena in Arizona on October 29th. The betting community already has Paul a slight -180 favorite to Silva’s +150 dog, mainly due to ‘The Spider’ being 47 years old. Getting knocked out twice in training wouldn’t improve Anderson’s chances.
