Cerrone is set to return to the Octagon at UFC 274 against Joe Lauzon in a crucial fight for both of their careers as Dana White says this will be it for the loser. ‘Cowboy’ enters the fight on a six-fight winless streak but he says his mindset has changed for this one and he’s eager to prove it.

Alexander Volkanovski and Max Holloway will finally be having their trilogy match. According to MMAJunkie, which was first mentioned by Ariel Helwani, Volkanovski vs. Holloway 3 has been agreed to for UFC 276 on July 2 in Las Vegas. The fight is expected to serve as the co-main event as Israel Adesanya vs. Jared Cannonier is slated as the event headliner.

UFC President, Dana White, recently did an interview in the ‘war room’ for ‘The Pivot Podcast’ and in the background a list of future fights were displayed on the board. Albeit the room is considered to be top-secret, a screen shot of the board has emerged on ‘Twitter’ and shows a Nate Diaz (20-13 MMA) vs Khamzat Chimaev (11-0 MMA) for UFC 276.

Gaethje is set to face Oliveira in the main event of UFC 274 for the lightweight title and in the lead-up to the fight, many have compared Oliveira to Khabib Nurmagomedov. Yet, for ‘The Highlight’ he doesn’t think that is true at all as he doesn’t think the current champ is nearly as dangerous as Nurmagomedov is.

Chandler was a top free agent signing back in 2020 and was the backup fighter for Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Justin Gaethje before even fighting once in the UFC. After knocking out Dan Hooker in his promotional debut, he then fought Charles Oliveira for the lightweight title in a losing effort. Now, just days ahead of his bout against Tony Ferguson at UFC 274, ‘Iron’ claims he’s Dana White’s favorite fighter.

Cody Garbrandt will be returning to bantamweight. After dropping down to flyweight at UFC 269, where Garbrandt suffered a first-round TKO loss to Kai Kara-France, the former champ will return to his old stomping grounds. According to MMAFighting, Garbrandt is set to return on July 9 against Rani Yahya. The location of the fight and the main event of the card has not yet been announced.

It just so happens that Rose Namajunas, 29, (12-4 MMA) also trains at that same location.
