Chael Sonnen is weighing in on Francis Ngannou’s contract with the UFC and his subsequent ability to become a free agent. Ngannou, (17-3 MMA), the current UFC Heavyweight Champion, has had an ongoing contract dispute with Dana White & Co.

Throughout the course of their respective careers in mixed martial arts, both Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Zhang Weili have been involved in some incredible contests. Alas, neither has been able to replicate what they produced together at UFC 248 when they battled it out in a remarkable five-round war in Las Vegas.

Georges St-Pierre has offered some constructive criticism to Khamzat Chimaev following his recent win over Gilbert Burns. At UFC 273 earlier this month, Khamzat Chimaev and Gilbert Burns went to war in a really fun welterweight clash. It was expected to serve as the big coming-out party for Chimaev and while he did end up securing the win, he had to go through some real adversity in order to get there.

Dawson trained at Glory MMA under James Krause for his entire pro career and spent the last couple of years helping coach. Yet, after his last fight, he says he felt burnt out and knew he needed to make a change which is why he changed gyms to go to American Top Team.

Jon Jones is now targeted to return in September. Jones was rumored to return at International Fight Week on July 2 against Stipe Miocic. It would’ve been a massive fight and one that likely would’ve been for the interim heavyweight title according to Dana White.

Aljamain Sterling seems to think T.J. Dillashaw’s recent comments are pretty funny. The UFC bantamweight champion is expected to face ‘Killashaw’ later this year. Since Dana White proclaimed that Dillashaw would fight for the title next, the two men have traded words for a while. Sterling quickly asserted that he wanted to fight the former champion next due to his previous EPO use.
Two fighters removed from active UFC roster following Saturday’s event in Las Vegas

Two fighters have been removed from the UFC’s active roster following UFC Vegas 52. The Twitter account UFC Roster Watch was the first to report the fighters being moved from the active roster. UFC bantamweight Miles Johns and women’s flyweight Sabina Mazo were reportedly removed from the promotion’s website.

After Fury knocked out Dillian Whyte he brought Francis Ngannou into the ring as both men have shown interest in making a fight happen. There’s no question it would be a spectacle and for Arum – who is the promoter of Fury – he thinks it would be bigger than Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor.

The UFC heavyweight champion’s contract with the company expires later this year. ‘The Predator’ was last seen in action at UFC 270 in January. His victory over Ciryl Gane was a huge one, as it allowed him to leave the promotion with UFC gold if he chooses.

The UFC heavyweight showdown between Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic has been pushed back once again. In August 2020, ‘Bones’ announced he was vacating his light-heavyweight title to move up. While he was expected to fight Francis Ngannou for the UFC heavyweight championship, his debut has been pushed back repeatedly for various reasons.

Over the weekend, one of the biggest combat sports events of the year went down at Wembley Stadium in London, England. Usman and Alvarez are the current top pound-for-pound fighters in MMA and boxing, respectively, so with that, the UFC’s welterweight champ has called out the Mexican to box. Following a knockout win over Dominick Cruz, Cejudo announced his retirement. Almost immediately after that announcement, the champion started discussing a comeback.
