Cody Durden is eager to welcome Muhammad Mokaev to the UFC. Mokaev is only 5-0 as a pro but went 22-0 as an amateur in the IMMAF promotion where he was the bantamweight champion. After Durden’s last win, Mokaev was one of many flyweights to call him out, so he’s excited to face the Brit on Saturday at UFC London.

Paddy Pimblett and Ilia Topuria have different reasons as to why they had a skirmish yesterday in London. On Tuesday at check-in day, Pimblett threw a hand sanitizer bottle at the head of Topuria, and punches were thrown. No one really knew why it happened but according to ‘The Baddy’ he said Topuria was the one who went at him so he reacted with throwing the hand sanitizer bottle. The Brit said he wasn’t going to risk his fight getting called off by punching him so throwing the bottle made the most sense.

Aljamain Sterling and Petr Yan have exchanged unpleasantries after ‘Funkmaster’ told ‘No Mercy’ to accept his loss like a man. Sterling (20-3 MMA) and Yan (16-2 MMA) are scheduled to duke it out in the Octagon on April 9th at UFC 273 in the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida.

Chael Sonnen has reacted to Magomed Ankalaev’s request for a title shot, indicating he believes it will not happen right now. Magomed Ankalaev (17-1 MMA) took center stage in the main event of UFC Vegas 50 this past weekend when he met up with Thiago Santos (22-10 MMA). The final result was another notch in the win column for Ankalaev.

Kevin Holland has described how he assisted in apprehending an active shooter at a restaurant in Houston, Texas. Holland, 29, is a popular UFC fighter who just made his welterweight debut by beating Alex Oliveira at UFC 272 on March 5th in Las Vegas, Nevada.  ‘Trailblazer’ holds the record for the most UFC wins in a single calendar year (5) in 2020.

Joanna Jedrzejczyk has given her thoughts on the upcoming rematch between Rose Namajunas and Carla Esparza. While she hasn’t competed inside the Octagon for over two years, Joanna Jedrzejczyk is still a pretty important factor to consider in the UFC’s strawweight division. The former champion is reportedly eyeing a return to the cage this summer, with the plan being for her to take on Zhang Weili in a rematch from their epic encounter at UFC 248.

In his last three outings he’s been on the wrong side of a defeat with Marcin Tybura, Tai Tuivasa and Sergey Spivak all finishing him via strikes.

A recent report from Igor Lazonin says Petr Yan’s corner have all been denied a visa to enter the United States. At UFC 273 next month, Petr Yan is set to challenge Aljamain Sterling for the UFC bantamweight title. The fight will be a rematch from their UFC 259 collision last year, which saw Sterling capture the belt courtesy of a controversial disqualification win.

The bout is expected to be the next big step in the career of the young prospect in Aspinall. The feud began after Tate blasted Ladd and her coach and boyfriend in Jim West for the way West yelled at her inside the Octagon during the Norma Dumont fight. West was trying to get Ladd going heading into the fifth round as she was clearly losing but Tate claimed that she’s in an abusive relationship.

Daniel Cormier seemingly isn’t a fan of Alex Pereira’s callout of Jared Cannonier. ‘Poatan’ is coming off a victory over Bruno Silva at UFC Vegas 50 last Saturday. Following the bout, the former kickboxing champion decided to call out the number two ranked middleweight Jared Cannonier. That’s in spite of the fact that ‘Killa Gorilla’ is set to face Israel Adesanya next.

Renato Moicano is proud of how he responded to adversity against Rafael dos Anjos at UFC 272. After Moicano submitted Alexander Hernandez at UFC 271, he called out Bobby Green for a fight. However, when Rafael Fiziev was forced out of his slated UFC 272 bout due to COVID-19, Moicano threw his name into the hat.

Belal Muhammad revealed he was supposed to headline UFC London against Khamzat Chimaev. After Muhammad beat Stephen Thompson by decision in December he began to call out Chimaev. He was vocal about wanting to get that fight and shortly after, his manager, Ali Abdelaziz called him to say he would be headling UFC London on March 19 against Chimaev.

Alexander Volkanovski has revealed a dream fight of his. ‘The Great’ is currently set to face Chan Sung Jung next month at UFC 273. The bout will be another defense of his featherweight crown, one that he took from Max Holloway back in 2019. He then scored another victory over ‘Blessed’ in 2020 at UFC 251.

Stephen Thompson is hoping to run things back with Jorge Masvidal next time out. Both Thompson and Masvidal are on two and three-fight losing streaks, respectively. In those fights, ‘Wonderboy’ was outwrestled by Gilbert Burns and Belal Muhammad, while Masvidal lost twice to welterweight champion Kamaru Usman and was then outwrestled by Colby Covington his last time out. With that, Thompson is hoping the Masvidal rematch happens as he wants to face a striker next time out.

Dustin Poirier began his career in the UFC as a featherweight before becoming one of the best 155-pound fighters in the world. Mike Brown believes Poirier has the size and power to challenge anyone if he makes the decision to start fighting at welterweight.
