UFC star Conor McGregor has teased that good news is coming as speculation over his mixed martial arts future continues. Over the course of the last few years, fans have been wondering when we’re going to see Conor McGregor get back in the cage. By the time we get to summer 2025, it would’ve been four years since he last competed. At this point, it’s truly unclear as to whether or not it’ll even happen.

In the aftermath of UFC Tampa, Dana White doesn’t believe Colby Covington was too upset with the doctor’s stoppage. Covington shared the Octagon with Joaquin Buckley inside Amalie Arena this past Saturday night. “Chaos” was outmatched on the feet despite his toughness. While Covington was able to get Buckley down on the mat, his control didn’t last long. “New Mansa” also had effective takedown defense and opened up a cut on Covington’s eyelid.

Dana White and the UFC brass on working on something for Dustin Poirier as “The Diamond” nears the end of his prizefighting career. Poirier has been hinting at his next fight being his last, as the soon-to-be 36-year-old isn’t interested in climbing back up the 155-pound ladder in hopes of securing a final title opportunity. In all likelihood, Poirier had his last UFC championship bout against Islam Makhachev back in June. “The Diamond” was submitted in the fifth round despite a hard-fought effort.

Cub Swanson can walk away from the sport of MMA on a high note, but he hasn’t decided if UFC Tampa was his swan song. Swanson was featured in the co-main event of UFC Tampa this past Saturday night. He shared the Octagon with Billy Quarantillo. This one was a competitive fight all the way until the finish in round three. Swanson scored the knockout victory and earned his eighth “Fight of the Night” bonus.

He fought Max Holloway in the main event of a UFC Singapore card. “The Korean Zombie” fought his heart out, just as he always has. With that said, Jung was knocked out in the third round and hung up his gloves for good.
Alexander Gustafsson will "most likely accept" deal for BKFC fight with fellow MMA veteran

The former UFC light heavyweight title challenger recently signed with upstart MMA promotion Global Fight League (GFL), and is reportedly close to inking a deal with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC).
