The 40-fight veteran has said he wants a meaningful fight if he is expected to return to the Octagon. “The Diamond” last competed for UFC gold back in June, suffering a submission loss to lightweight titleholder Islam Makhachev.

Brendan Schaub believes if the UFC brings Donald Cerrone back, he should be properly booked. Cerrone turned some heads when he announced he’s planning to make a comeback. “Cowboy” posted a video on Instagram saying that he needs to get off steroids so that he can fight clean. UFC Hall of Famer Daniel Cormier has expressed his concern over Cerrone possibly having an unfair edge even if he cleans up.

With that being said, a lot of newer fans probably can’t remember too much about that.

Rountree lost to UFC light heavyweight champ Alex Pereira in the UFC 307 main event earlier this month. After nearly finishing Pereira in the opening rounds, Pereira put a torrid pace on Rountree as the fight went on, battering him and finishing him in Round 4.

A police officer’s bodycam footage of Bare Knuckle FC star Mike Perry’s arrest for Driving Under the Influence (DUI) in Florida has been publicized. Perry, who hasn’t appeared in combat sports since a loss to Jake Paul in July, was pulled over near Clermont, FL earlier this month for speeding. As an officer approached Perry’s passenger side window, he smelled excessive alcohol coming from Perry.

Poirier hasn’t fought since a fifth-round submission loss to Islam Makhachev at UFC 302 in June. After losing his third career lineal UFC title fight, Poirier strongly suggested retirement and that he’d walk away after the fight.
