The pair first fought in 2010 when Carmouche beat Shevchenko via second-round TKO. “The Bullet” vindicated her loss and secured a unanimous decision win, but Bisping wasn’t blown away by the contest.

The UFC light heavyweight champion said, essentially, that the only way the fight would happen is if it took place at 205-pounds because Jones has expressed no interest in making the move to heavyweight. “Bones” stated that Cormier wouldn’t want to put his body through another difficult weight cut, meaning a trilogy fight would not take place in the future.

Diaz, on the other hand, says he was offered lower-ranked opponents, thus showing that the Irishman is handed everything.

Of course, when it comes to Jones, Cormier can’t help but get a little excited — although recently, the heavyweight champion stated that a third fight with his rival would be up to him to make it a reality.
