On Saturday night, the UFC will return to our screens with stacked UFC 246 card. The main card, which will air on pay-per-view, will be topped by a welterweight scrap between former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor and record-collecting finisher Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone. Big pay-per-view cards like UFC 246 are usually opened up by special introductory videos highlighting the stars of the event. Ordinarily, these videos are not available until fight night, but UFC President Dana White is so excited about the video for the UFC 246 main card that he decided to leak it early.

Masvidal’s mezcal brand is called “El Recuerdo,” which means “memory” in Spanish. See the official release video for this new brand below:

A different sounding version of Conor McGregor has appeared in the lead-up to his fight against Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone at UFC 246, and that version was on full display during Wednesday’s pre-fight press conference. McGregor did not come into the press conference with a ton of trash talk or animosity towards Cerrone, instead he chose to pay respect to his upcoming opponent and credit him for becoming a family man and his activity inside the Octagon. This version of McGregor’s persona has caught the attention of many, including former UFC women’s bantamweight champion, Miesha Tate.

McGregor and Donald Cerrone took part in the UFC 246 pre-fight press conference on Wednesday in Las Vegas ahead of their big fight this Saturday night at T-Mobile Arena in downtown Vegas. It’s expected to be a huge pay-per-view for the UFC.

There have recently been talks of a potential fight between boxing world champion Claressa Shields and reigning UFC bantamweight and featherweight champion Amanda Nunes, and White isn’t hiding his plans for a fight between the two. When asked for an update on a potential fight between Nunes and Shields, White told Bronsteter that it’s not hard to figure out what’s going on between all parties involved and he believes the best opponent for each fighter is the other.

RIZIN light heavyweight champion Jiri Prochazka recently became a free agent and has decided to take his talents to the UFC. ESPN’s Brett Okamoto confirmed with Prochazka’s manager and trainer Martin Karaivanov that the 27-year-old Czech Republic native nicknamed “Denisa” has signed an exclusive deal with the UFC. He obviously had to vacate the RIZIN light heavyweight title in order to sign with the UFC.

While Donald Cerrone is his opponent at UFC 246, McGregor still has his sights set on getting redemption on his bitter rival and current lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov. During an interview with BT Sport, McGregor discussed his state of mind heading into their first fight at UFC 229, and then revealed that he was offered a rematch with Nurmagomedov before the champion reached a deal to face Tony Ferguson.
