The octagon invades Denmark for today’s UFC Copenhagen event, a fourteen-bout fight card headlined by a middleweight tilt between Jack Hermansson vs. Jared Cannonier. Jack Hermansson (20-4 MMA) will enter tonight’s event on a four-fight winning streak, his latest being a unanimous decision victory over former Strikeforce champion Ronaldo Souza this past April.

Colby Covington reacts after finally receiving a title shot at UFC 245

Former UFC interim welterweight champ Colby Covington will finally get his shot at undisputed gold on December 14 when he meets Kamaru Usman at UFC 245. The news that UFC 245 had added a third title fight between Colby Covington and Kamaru Usman came earlier tonight courtesy of ESPN’s Ariel Helwani.

UFC 245 officially has three title fights as it was announced that Kamaru Usman will be defending his welterweight title at the December 14 event in Las Vegas. ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ is set to headline the fight card opposite former interim title holder Colby Covington.

Many think Gaethje could pose the biggest threat to the undefeated Dagestani lightweight champion. He has knockout power and comes from a Division-I wrestling background where he was an All-American. Jeremy Stephens discusses angry UFC Mexico crowd

Jeremy Stephens became a walking target for fans at UFC Mexico after his fight against Yair Rodriguez was stopped after just 15 seconds. Stephens was unable to continue fighting in the main event after Rodriguez accidentally poked him in the eye at the start of the first round. Fans were unsurprisingly disappointed by the early stoppage, and took action into their own hands by pelting beer cans and garbage toward the cage.
Shogun Rua to return to action opposite Sam Alvey

The MMA legend Maurício “Shogun” Rua is set to return to the Octagon. According to ESPN, the former light heavyweight champion will fight Sam Alvey on Nov. 16th at UFC Sao Paulo in Brazil.
TJ Dillashaw explains how two-year suspension is 'somewhat of a blessing'

TJ Dillashaw is suspended by USADA until January of 2021 after testing positive for the banned substance EPO. He was flagged following his TKO loss to Henry Cejudo at UFC Brooklyn earlier this year. During the suspension, he has undergone shoulder surgery on both shoulders and has been healing nagging injuries he has been dealing with. The former UFC bantamweight champion also has started a new business, so the time off has been productive.

Dana White isn’t listening to Melbourne’s mayor. When the Octagon touches down in Melbourne, Australia for UFC 243 next Saturday, the mayor was hoping Octagon girls wouldn’t be there. Sally Capp called for the UFC to move past the outdated practice of Octagon girls.
Ben Askren roasts Dillon Danis for ADCC withdrawal

Dillon Danis was expected to return to the mats at ADCC 2019, but according to a report from FloGrappling, the Conor McGregor stablemate has withdrawn from his position in the -99kg division. You better believe Ben Askren has something to say about that. The UFC welterweight contender Askren reacted to this news on Twitter, making a rather crude suggestion about the cause of Danis’ withdrawal.
