UFC 232, which goes down on December 29 in Las Vegas, is still two months away, but the promotion has already released the official fight poster for the mammoth, end-of-the-year card.
This poster features the mugs of former light heavyweight champ Jon Jones and top contender Alexander Gustafsson, who will rematch for the vacant UFC light heavyweight title in the main event, and those of featherweight champion Cris Cyborg and bantamweight champion Amana Nunes, who will battle in a featherweight title super fight in the co-main event.

Jon Jones has not fought since July of 2017, when he knocked out Daniel Cormier to reclaim the UFC light heavyweight belt. Regrettably, it was then learned that Jones had failed a pre-fight drug test. His win was ruled a no contest, and the title was returned to Cormier who has held it ever since. Cormier will be stripped when Jones and Gustafsson fight at UFC 232.
Alexander Gustafsson, surprisingly, is riding an even longer layoff than Jon Jones, having not fought since May of 2017 when he knocked out Glover Teixeira.
The pair first fought in September of 2013 in a bout many consider the best light heavyweight fight in UFC history. On that night, Jones walked away with a hard-fought unanimous decision win, though many felt Gustafsson did enough to win.
Cris Cyborg will enter the UFC 232 co-main event having not fought since March, when she knocked out Yana Kunitskaya to defend her title. In her next most recent win, she defended the title with a decision defeat of Holly Holm.
Amanda Nunes last fought in May of this year, when she stopped Raquel Pennington to defend the UFC bantamweight title. In her next most recent wins, she defended the title with wins over Valentina Shevchenko and Ronda Rousey.
