The van of the Package bomb suspect sported an American Top Team sticker
The van of the package bomb suspect connected in a string of alleged politically-motivated attempted bombings actually sported an American Top Team sticker.
56-year-old Cesar Sayoc is in custody after being investigated for a series of package bombs which were targeted for several notable current and former US politicians.
The attempted crimes were directed at high ranking members of the Democrat party, including some former Obama cabinet members.
According to CNN, the social media pages associated with the package bomb suspect were flooded with posts supporting the current President, along with provocative photos and memes attacking liberals.
According to Cesar Sayoc’s former boss, the lead package bomb suspect openly called himself a white supremacist. Debra Gureghian said Sayoc told her that lesbians like her and other minorities should be put on an island. And though he liked her, she would be the first person he would burn, Gureghian recalled.
Amidst the chaos, photos have now emerged showing that the package bomb suspect was actually cruising down the streets of South Florida with an American Top Team (ATT) sticker posted on his back window.

Shortly after the photo surfaced and made the rounds amongst the MMA community, American Top Team (ATT) owner Dan Lambert told ESPN’s Ariel Helwani that he has already been in contact with the various branches of the gym and found that “nobody knows him” adding that the package bomb suspect (Sayoc) is “not in the membership database either.”
A social media account linked to the package bomb suspect also listed “Cage Fighter” in the bio. However, no searches for “Cesar Sayoc MMA” yielded any results.
American Top Team is one of the world’s most famous mixed martial arts (MMA) gyms and has produced multiple UFC champions including current welterweight title holder Tyron Woodley.
With that said, it appears that the American Top Team sticker plastered on the back window of the van used by the package bomb suspect has nothing to do with Sayoc having an affiliation to the gym itself.
