TUF 1 veteran Lodune Sincaid dead at 45 years old

Lodune Sincaid, a veteran of the first-ever season of The Ultimate Fighter, has passed away at 45 years old.

Sherdog was the first to report this unfortunate news. The fighter’s website, LoduneMMA.com, has since issued a statement confirming this tragedy.

Lodune Sincaid was found dead April 7, 2019. Lodune was a true friend and will be missed by those close to him as well as those who crossed his path during his time on this earth. He held no grudges and left this life in peace.

Following his time on The Ultimate Fighter 1, during which he shared screen time with legends like Forrest Griffin, Diego Sanchez, Chris Leben, Kenny Florian and Stephan Bonnar, Lodune Sincaid went on to capture light heavyweight gold in World Extreme Cagefighting (WEC). He earned this title by defeating Dan Molina at WEC 20.

News of his passing generated a reaction from UFC President Dana White, who paid tribute to the late MMA veteran on Twitter.
