UFC 235 Fighter Salaries: Jon Jones and Tyron Woodley lead payroll
Jon Jones successfully defended his UFC light heavyweight title in the headliner of UFC 235 defeating Anthony Smith by unanimous decision.
Jon Jones earned a disclosed $500,000 on Saturday night, while Anthony Smith took home $350,000 for his efforts.
Jones was not the only fighter to earn half a million dollars at UFC 235.
Tyron Woodley also took home $500,000 in his unanimous decision setback to Kamaru Usman.
The newly crowned UFC welterweight champion, Usman, pocketed $350,000 with the win.
In total, nine different fighters took home $100,000 or more at Saturday’s event in Las Vegas.
