UFC 235 weigh-in results: both title fights get green light

Tomorrow night, the UFC will return to our screens with the stacked UFC 235 card out of Las Vegas, Nevada.

The card will be topped by a light heavyweight title fight between champion Jon Jones and challenger Anthony Smith. The bout will serve as the first title defense of Jones’ latest reign as champion, and Smith’s first shot at gold in the UFC.

UFC 235 will be co-headlined by another title fight, this one in the welterweight division, as long-time champion Tyron Woodley takes on streaking challenger Kamaru Usman.

Elsewhere on the main card, we’ll witness the UFC debut of former ONE and Bellator champ Ben Askren, who is set to collide with former UFC champ Robbie Lawler. We’ll also be treated to the return of former bantamweight champ Cody Garbrandt, who takes on Pedro Munhoz, as well as a strawweight scrap between Weili Zhang and Tecia Torres.

The undercard, finally, also features some fantastic bouts, such as a featherweight fight between Jeremy Stephens and Zabit Magomedsharipov and a light heavyweight battle between Misha Cirkunov and Johnny Walker.

On Friday morning, the talented fighters on this 12-bout card stepped onto the scales to weigh in for battle. Luckily, all four fighters involved in the headlining title fights made weight. So too did everybody else on the bill.
