UFC Argentina weigh in results: Cynthia Calvillo struggles to the scale, misses weight (video)

Tomorrow night, the UFC will make its debut in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with the interesting looking UFC Argentina card.

Although the card is a little short on big names, there are still plenty of reasons to tune in, such as the crucial welterweight main event between hometown hero Santiago Ponzinibbio and long-time contender Neil Magny.

Elsewhere on the card, fans will be treated to a number of other interesting matchups, such as a dynamite co-main event between featherweight contenders Ricardo Lamas and Darren Elkins, a light heavyweight gunfight between Khalil Rountree Jr. and Johnny Walker, and a middleweight showdown between Cezar Ferreira and the debuting Ian Heinisch.

On Friday morning, the 26 fighters on this UFC Argentina card took to the scales to weigh in for battle. Unfortunately, one fighter missed weight.

That fighter was strawweight contender Cynthia Calvillo, who is returning from her first pro loss and a lengthy, USADA-administered sit. After a frightening struggle to the scale, the visibly depleted Calvillo missed weight by 2 lbs.

Luckily, this was the only weigh-in related hiccup of the morning. Everybody else on the UFC Argentina bill hit their marks.
