UFC Fort Lauderdale: Souza vs. Hermansson Live Results

The octagon invades the BB&T Center tonight for UFC Fort Lauderdale, an event headlined by a middleweight bout between Ronaldo Souza and Jack Hermansson.

Ronaldo Souza was last seen in action at November’s UFC 230 event, where he scored a spectacular knockout victory over former champ Chris Weidman. “Jacare” has gone 4-2 over his past six fights and is expected to become the next middleweight title challenger if he can prove victorious this evening.

Meanwhile, Jack Hermansson will enter tonight’s UFC Fort Lauderdale main event on a three fight win streak, his latest being a submission win over former WSOF “champ champ” David Branch.

In the co-main event of UFC Fort Lauderdale former NFL player Greg Hardy will take on Dmitrii Smoliakov in a heavyweight bout.

Smoliakov will enter his first career octagon appearance sporting a professional record of 9-2.

Meanwhile, Greg Hardy (3-1 MMA) will be looking to rebound after suffering a disqualification loss to Allen Crowder in his most recent effort.

If those two fights weren’t enough to get you interested, UFC Fort Lauderdale also features a welterweight fight between fan favorites Mike Perry and Alex Oliveira.
