VIDEO | Diego Sanchez shows off bite mark from UFC 235 fight with Mickey Gall
A welterweight bout between former UFC title challenger Diego Sanchez and Mickey Gall took place on the prelims of last night’s UFC 235 event.
Gall and Sanchez were engaged in some heated exchanges in the lead up to their scrap, making the fight one of the most highly anticipated contests on the card.
Sanchez pressured Gall from the opening bell, and went on to utilize his strong grappling skills to take the fight to the floor.
From there Sanchez would live up to his nickname (Nightmare) by delivering some hellacious ground and pound.
Those strikes eventually forced the referee to step in and call a stop to the action (watch that here).
Following his impressive stoppage victory over Gall at UFC 235, Diego Sanchez posted a video showcasing a bite mark he suffered during last night’s fight.
“You can see it. That is a bite mark! Did you see it? This little b*tch he f*cking bit me! Can you believe that? But did I tell the ref? Did I cry or complain? No. I’m a warrior. You bit me? I’m going to beat you. And that’s is exactly what happened.” – Diego Sanchez
The win marked Sanchez’s second in a row and his third in his last five fights overall.
