Unfortunately, the last UFC card on Fox programming didn’t come without its issues as at least one fight suffered the fate of cancellation.

That fight being none other than the lone female fight on UFC Milwaukee, a top flyweight contender bout featuring Andrea ‘KGB’ Lee and ‘Jessy Jess’ Jessica-Rose Clark.

Lee would end up making weight while Clark reportedly passed out during her cut which led to her hospitalization. Thankfully, she is okay but just disappointed.

“I’m ok. Really upset, but happy to be here. This camp has been a roller coaster but I thought it would all be ok when I got to fight. Weight cut was more on track than any before. Body gave up on me though. Lesson learned. I’ll post a video later tonight. Thanks for all the love” Clark tweeted.

For Jessica-Rose Clark, this was to be the fifth flyweight fight of her 15-fight career (fourth in the UFC). Of the four that she’s had, she has made the 125-pound mark twice having gone 2-1 (1 NC).

As stated in the video above, she will be returning to her old home in the 135-pound bantamweight division. Therefore the matchup between her and Lee for UFC Milwaukee is unlikely to be seen in the future.

Jessica-Rose Clark got off to a hot start in her UFC career as she came into the organization off a big win over Carina Damm before filling in on short notice against Bec Rawlings. Clark would pick up the win in the co-main event of UFC Sydney by split decision.

She followed up the performance with another good one by spoiling Paige VanZant’s divisional debut with a unanimous decision victory.

It wasn’t until her last fight where she tasted defeat inside the Octagon thanks to Jessica Eye at UFC Singapore.
