Video | Khamzat Chimaev attempts to motivate Darren Till in training: “Let’s go fat boy!”
Khamzat Chimaev is doing his best to motivate Darren Till as the pair train together at the Allstars Training Center in Sweden.
Chimaev (10-0 MMA), age 27, has taken the UFC by storm since making his Octagon debut in July of 2020. ‘The Wolf’ has scored stoppage wins in all four of his UFC fights, finishing opponents John Phillips, Rhys McKee, Gerald Meerschaert and Li Jingliang along the way.
‘Borz’ is now rumored to face former welterweight title challenger Gilbert Burns on April 9 at UFC 273 in what many believe will be his toughest test to date. Contrary to those beliefs, Khamzat Chimaev has dubbed ‘Durinho’ as being an easy fight.
The undefeated UFC star is now back in Sweden training at his longtime gym of Allstars Training Center, this after doing a stint at Tiger Muay Thai. Joining Chimaev at the world-renowned training facility is former welterweight title challenger Darren Till.
As seen below, ‘The Gorilla’ and ‘The Wolf’ have been having some fun with each other during training, poking verbal jabs back and forth as motivation to work harder.
The comments of “Come on fat boy!” from Khamzat Chimaev and “Let’s go fat boy” are the most notable takeaways from the video shared by The MacLife.
Darren Till (18-4-1 MMA) has not stepped foot in the Octagon since suffering a submission loss to Derek Brunson in September of 2021. The Liverpool native has lost four of his past five fights overall and is in desperate need of a win his next time out.
Till was once rumored to fight Uriah Hall at next month’s UFC London event, but that contest never came to fruition.
