VIDEO | TJ Dillashaw was ‘feeling ALIVE’ minutes after making weight
TJ Dillashaw silenced his critics yesterday when he successfully made weight for his flyweight title fight with Henry Cejudo.
The current UFC bantamweight kingpin, Dillashaw (16-3 MMA), weighed in at a remarkable 124.6 pounds for his highly anticipated super fight with Cejudo.
That fight will take place later this evening at UFC Brooklyn, which airs live on ESPN+.
Minutes after making weight for a bout that will serve as his flyweight debut, TJ Dillashaw shared the following NSFW video on his official Instagram page.
“Ear muffs 🙉 I’m sorry was feeling ALIVE minutes after weight ins and ready to go. @hansmolenkamp caught me in rare form! @monsterenergy #moviequotes #teamamerica #Talledeganights” – TJ Dillashaw
TJ Dillashaw will enter tonight’s flyweight title fight on a four-fight win streak, his latest being a first-round TKO victory over former teammate turned bitter rival Cody Garbrandt at UFC 227 this past August.
“Killashaw” has not tasted defeat since January of 2016, when he suffered a controversial split-decision setback to Dominick Cruz.
Meanwhile, Henry Cejudo was also last seen in action at UFC 227. That evening in Los Angeles the former Olympic Gold Medalist scored a split-decision win over longtime flyweight kingpin Demetrious Johnson.
