‘Master Thong’ has been a staple of Urijah Faber’s Team Alpha Male gym for quite some time. In addition to being one of the best striking coaches on the planet, Master Thong has caught the eye of several MMA fans with his hilarious and over-the-top fight night outfits when he’s cornering fighters.

Unfortunately however, several fighters from the Team Alpha Male camp have revealed over time that Master Thong also has a gambling addiction that has led him to ask numerous team members for money over the years.

During a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, where Duane Ludwig and TJ Dillashaw were guests, the pair recalled the time when Master Thong actually bet against Urijah Faber in his title fight against Renan Barao at UFC 169.

So far no word yet on when TJ Dillashaw will be back in the Octagon. After losing the UFC bantamweight championship to Dominick Cruz several months ago, Dillashaw bounced back as he defeated Raphael Assuncao in convincing fashion at UFC 200.

While Dillashaw has been campaigning for a rematch with Dominick Cruz, reports have surfaced that the UFC is looking to book a bantamweight title fight between Dominick Cruz and Cody Garbrandt for UFC 207, which would likely leave Dillashaw at the top of the bantamweight division, but without a fight.
