Tough Guy Tuesday: Evander Kane
In this week’s segment of “Tough Guy Tuesday” we feature current National Hockey League forward Evander Kane.
The 24-year-old currently plays for the Buffalo Sabres in the NHL’s Eastern Conference.
Kane began his NHL career during the 2009-2010 season with the Atlanta Thrashers. Evander recorded 14 goals and 12 assists in 66 games during his rookie campaign.
Kane’s most productive year came during the 2011-2012 season as a member of the Winnipeg Jets, where he recorded 30 goals and 27 assists in 74 games played.
Since joining the league in 2009, the Canadian power forward has been involved in a handful of memorable fights.
However, this past week Kane left a major impression on NHL fans, when he dropped the gloves three times in one night with Florida’s Alex Petrovic.
Evander was able to defeat Petrovic in all three of their fights on February 9, thus earning him the nod for this week’s “Tough Guy Tuesday”.
